I changed the set-up, I thought it gave it more 'flavor' and I have added Midori's profile and a gallery/slideshow (check under Asian Ball Jointed Dolls). I am working on a profile/gallery for Abbey and Maryweather. I am also tracking down some poems I wrote in the last few months. I am also planning to add some pictures of some of my other art projects and photography before I go back to work. Lets hope I don't disappoint. I feel like a bum for not working on this site for four months and I realize that NOTHING is done. Ah for shame. If I get enough of my new material up I would like to perhaps add a blast from the past section with some old works. I also want to figure out how to customize this layout a bit more. I will have to spend a day messing with settings and what not.

Touch my Taters studio may sound like a weird name, but it is my name. I came up with it several years ago, and it has stuck with my ever since. I was determined to have a website with that for a name, and what better to make a website of then my art. It was either that or pictures of my cat.
I have always loved art of any kind and love experimenting with new styles and techniques. That is why on this site you will probably see a lot of different types of art, and you may see a lot of one type of art for a while, and then my interest will shift to something else, but I will come back to it in time.
All the art on here is from 2011 or later. I have some of my art going back to 2002, if you want to see it (mostly anime drawings) check out my deviantart. I may add a nifty little gallery of older works I am proud of, but one thing at a time.
I think what is cool about being bard like in my artistic endeavors- minus the singing and dancing (okay I will do both, but not well) is that there are things I think anyone can enjoy. Here you will eventually find photography, photomanipulations, miniatures (inchies, atc's and matchbook), clay sculptures, drawings, sewing, and who knows what else I may think of in the future. Some people will spend their life perfecting a particular artistic craft, my pride, is that I will try any of them, and probably enjoy it.
I even plan to include some of my writings here, including poems, short stories, and bits of novels and scripts. If I had to pick ONE artistic endeavor that I was skilled at, it is writing. Writing is my pride and joy of all my joys, and being a published author is probably one of my biggest dreams. But, I'm working on it.
Some of you may wonder why I separated my Ball Jointed Dolls from the rest of my art. Well, to me these dolls are not just dolls, they are pieces of art in themselves and the represent characters that I have created from them. I wanted to be able to share with you who they are to me, and it made sense to create an area just for them. One day, when I pay for it, I will give them their own sub-domain of Touch My Taters Studios, called Angelic Lizard Studios. But that is for another day. Besides, dolls creep some people out and if you don't like them, you don't have to look!
But I hope you enjoy this website at least a fraction of the amount I enjoy making the art!
